ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Bethany Jelinek! As a private voice teacher, I find joy in teaching students of all ages and abilities. I believe that EVERYONE can learn to sing and it is my job to listen and find the words to help us sing best. For school-age students, my responsibilities are to prepare them for secondary and collegiate music departments and choral groups, to develop appreciation for vocal music, to provide musical challenges, and to build upon the student’s primary musical education. I hold an MM and a BM in Vocal Performance, both of which I obtained at Southern Methodist University. Pony up! Private voice lessons will refine vocal technique for the benefit of the singer, diagnose vocal weaknesses and design a specific study for improvement, and strengthen solo technique to increase musical opportunities. I will work diligently to create a positive forum for each student’s vocal development!
